The Last Collection, focuses on designing the clothing of a dystopian, yet futuristic, society. I wanted to address the depressing fact that our own society is nearing destruction and we may soon need clothes that protect us from the elements. Geometric shapes, cutouts, and various linear details produce an overall very structured and armored look. Throughout The Last Collection I removed color and identity to create a uniform and genderless feel to emphasize the dramatic shapes, contrasting textures, and topstitching within the fabrics. What will you be wearing for the end of time?
